Virginia Tech (1-0) leaned on a dominant second half to grab a 98-67 win over Charleston Southern (0-1) on opening night in Cassell Coliseum. This was the Hokies 10th consecutive win in a season opener and featured the debuts of a variety of newcomers, including the five-star Greek freshman Neoklis Avdalas.
