Virginia Tech received some surprising news today when USF transfer big man Michael Durr announced that he has decommitted from Virginia Tech.

Durr was considered a quality third big man at least for Virginia Tech for the upcoming season that could allow Keve Aluma to play at the four at times. Durr's departure almost certainly means that Virginia Tech will be looking for another big man whether Keve Aluma returns as expected or doesn't with that big likely to be in the mold of Durr.
