Virginia Tech's high school recruiting focus is shifting more and more to the Class of 2028 as the Hokies have their 2027 class mostly together. One of those early names on the defensive side to monitor is four-star S CJ Craig-James out of Birmingham, AL.
Craig-James is considered a consensus four-star and top 100 overall recruit in the 2028 class with 247 Sports ranking him 83rd overall, ESPN ranking him 89th overall, and Rivals ranking him 94th overall.
So far, the Hokies are making a positive impression on the 6'3'', 195-pound Craig-James as he shared.
