It's been certain for all of the 2018-19 season that Virginia Tech would be headed to the NCAA Tournament this year, something that no Hokies' team has been able to say in a long time. Now, it's official.

Virginia Tech is headed to its third-straight NCAA Tournament for the first time in school history. The Hokies have earned a 4 seed in the East Region and will take on 13 seed Saint Louis, the Atlantic 10 Tournament champs, in the first round of the NCAA Tournament in San Jose, California this Friday.
The 4 seed is the highest in program history, an incredible accomplishment given where this Virginia Tech program was when Buzz Williams was hired.

Combine that with the fact that this is the first time that VT has made three-straight NCAA Tournaments, and it's an incredible testament to the job that Buzz Williams has done.
