Virginia Tech freshman LB Isi Etute has been arrested and charged with second degree murder stemming from an incident that has been ruled a homicide on Monday, May 31st.

Etute, a freshman, was an early enrollee at Virginia Tech who arrived and participated in spring practice. Virginia Tech has released a statement that includes the fact that Etute has been suspended indefinitely effective immediately.
Mike Barber of the Richmond Times Dispatch is reporting that the Virginia Tech football team held a team meeting this afternoon to discuss the situation.
