The transfer portal doesn't officially open till tomorrow for Division I athletes, but those outside of DI can already jump in. That includes Shepherd (DII) CB Damier Minkah who received an offer from Virginia Tech today.
He had this to say about his reaction to receiving an offer from the Hokies, his first from a Power 4 program.
"It was unexpected and caught me off guard. But I appreciate them giving me the opportunity to play at the P4 level in my home state," Minkah said.
