Virginia Tech currently only has two open scholarships, but the Hokies are looking at adding some layered depth at certain spots including with younger guys on the defensive line to grow behind their current veteran starters. That includes the Hokies extending an offer to an intriguing SEC defensive line transfer who was a top 100 recruit by three of the four major recruiting services coming out of high school.
