Virginia Tech offensive lineman Hannes Hammer will enter the transfer portal.
The redshirt junior only played in six games for the Hokies in the three years at Virginia Tech.
Hannes Hammer is a German-born player who attended North Cross School in Roanoke, VA. Hammer, who is listed at 6-foot-7 and 313-pounds was a three star-recruit who chose Virginia Tech over teams like Appalachian State, Eastern Michigan, UMass, and others.
Hammer is the third offensive lineman to enter the portal, following Carter Stellard and Jahzari Priester. He will have two years of eligibility left.
