In a year that the Virginia Tech Hokies are returning more starters than just about any other team in the country, it was going to take lots of work for anyone to work their way into the starting lineup. However, Layth Ghannam has changed the dynamic on the offensive line and is forcing head coach Brent Pry and OL coach Ron Crook to make some decisions.
That’s because the former four-star recruit Ghannam, a 6’5’’ 302-pound redshirt freshman, has been turning heads all camp, working with the first team offensive line in recent practices.
