Luke Tenuta was selected in the sixth round at 209th overall by the Buffalo Bills, joining James Mitchell (Detroit) and Amare Barno (Carolina) as Hokies selected in this the 2022 NFL Draft so far. He is the eighth highest selected Virginia Tech offensive tackle in NFL Draft history.
Tenuta was a two-year starter for the Hokies who surpassed Silas Dzansi early in the 2020 season at right tackle before sliding over to replace 2021 NFL Draft first round pick Christian Darrisaw at left tackle this past season. Tenuta's solid 2021 season earned him All-ACC Honorable Mention honors.
