Jordan Bass has had a busy offseason with a transfer from Pittsburgh to Virginia Tech and an unexpected summer move from linebacker to safety.
The odds of Bass playing in 2025 already seemed low given the fact that he had a redshirt available and was coming off injury last season. Add in the position change to a room that includes four experienced transfers and the odds of him playing for the Hokies this fall seemed very low.
However, the conversation about Bass shifted this past week when I asked Brent Pry about how things are shaking out in the safety room for 2025.
