Four-star center Qudus Wahab is one of the top targets for Buzz Williams and Virginia Tech. Yesterday, the in-state big man revealed his Final 5 ahead of his likely upcoming decision. https://twitter.com/bola_dee_baller/status/1045019718044844033 The Hokies made the cut for Wahab alongside ACC rivals Syracuse and Pittsburgh plus Georgetown and Connecticut. Virginia Tech has made Wahab one of their top priorities this recruiting cycle with the Hokies having a reasonable shot at gaining his commitment though there isn't a clear favorite at the moment. It's unknown at this point where Wahab will take his official visits and whether he will take all five as he seems likely to sign during the early signing window after trimming his list down to five recently. For the Hokies, it will be critical to host him on an official visit soon with Buzz Williams likely pushing to get him on campus for an official visit on a football game weekend. Virginia Tech made the cut for one of their top targets, but the Hokies still have plenty of work to do to gain the commitment of Qudus Wahab.
