After beating VMI last night, Buzz Williams and Virginia Tech's coaching staff are on the road visiting four-star C Qudus Wahab. Back in September, Wahab cut his list down to Virginia Tech, Pittsburgh, Syracuse, Georgetown, and Connecticut. Since then, Wahab has taken official visits to all five schools and has set a commitment date for December 13th according to 247 Sports. The Hokies are looking to add a true center to their large 2019 class with Wahab being the Hokies' top target for the last few months at center. That interest has clearly been mutual with Virginia Tech being one of the top contenders in his recruitment.
