The Virginia Tech Hokies have had a diverse group of players wear the #25 jersey this season from true freshman like Divine Deablo to senior leaders like Sam Rogers. Throughout the season, whoever has been wearing the #25 jersey has seemed to make some sort of big play from Sam Rogers having over 100 rushing yards this past weekend to C.J. Carroll having a 60+ yard reception against Notre Dame to Greg Stroman returning a punt for a touchdown against ECU to Divine Deablo forcing a fumble on the opening kickoff against Pittsburgh.
The #25 jersey has become quite popular among Hokie fans and this week, Justin Fuente has awarded the #25 jersey to one of the Hokies' best players.

All-ACC First Team DT Woody Baron has been given the honor of wearing the #25 jersey for the Hokies against Clemson in the ACC Championship. Baron has had a great season with 50 tackles, 17.5 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks, 5 QB hurries, and 1 fumble recovery.
Baron was a lightly-recruited player coming out of high school but has developed into a star for the Hokies that was one of the best defensive players in the ACC this past season and consistently a hard worker who gave everything he had. Baron's 2016 performance is also one of the best performances from a VT defensive lineman in over the past decade.
Baron is the type of recruiting steal that has worked hard and developed into a high-impact player helped Virginia Tech make this big turnaround in 2016 and has the Hokies once again relevant nationally in college football.
Congrats to Woody Baron on receiving the #25 jersey for the ACC Championship.
