Before his visit to Blacksburg, 2020 four-star DB Cameron Roseman-Sinclair told us that Virginia Tech was among a trio of schools standing out in his recruitment. After his visit, the Hokies improved their standing even more. Roseman-Sinclair told us that the Hokies are at the "top of my list" in his recruitment because of "the family feeling and the atmosphere of the staff." In addition, Roseman-Sinclair told us that he had a "great" visit to Virginia Tech and that "the family feeling and my first impression with (safeties) coach (Tyrone) Nix" stood out to him. The four-star safety told us that his first impression of Nix was that he is an "outgoing coach who always will be straight forward with you." The fact that Nix was able to make such a strong impression on a top safety recruit like Cameron Roseman-Sinclair is a very encouraging sign for the Hokies' hopes of getting the Charlotte star. Overall, Roseman-Sinclair told us that the visit "impacted" the Hokies' standing in his recruitment "a lot" in part due to VT's defensive reputation. While Roseman-Sinclair previously told us that he doesn't plan to cut down his list till January, it would be shocking if Virginia Tech didn't make that cut. For now, the Hokies have emerged as the frontrunner for Roseman-Sinclair benefitting from his close friendship with Elijah Bowick, but also doing quite well in building Roseman-Sinclair's interest in the Hokies regardless of his relationship with Bowick. Early on, the Hokies are at the top of Cameron Rosneir'a recruitment and should be a frontrnuner throughout his recruitment.
