Running back play was one of the biggest weaknesses for Virginia Tech last season due in large part to the fact that Tech's top RB Malachi Thomas missed most of the season due to various injuries. Going into this season, Tech not only has a healthy Thomas but also some fresh faces headlined by North Carolina A&T transfer Bhayshul Tuten who put up impressive numbers in FCS and turned heads this spring for the Hokies.
