Virginia Tech's offer surge for 2024 classes and beyond has continued throughout the late spring with one being extended to Floridian 2024 four-star QB Tyler Aronson who transferred from North Palm Beach's The Benjamin School to Florida powerhouse St Thomas Aquinas after this past season.

Aronson told us that he was "super excited and grateful" to receive an offer from the Hokies adding that Virginia Tech is "definitely a school I'm very interested in." The offer came during a conversation with offensive analyst Brian Crist with Aronson adding this on how that conversation went as a whole.
"It went really well. I also got to learn some more about Virginia Tech and I’m definitely excited to get on campus soon," Aronson said.
This comes as the Hokies have been showing lots of interest in him recently with Aronson speaking with Crist and offensive coordinator Tyler Bowen prior to Crist extending the offer to him. Aronson also has lots of interest in Virginia Tech himself in part due to the family ties that he shared with us.
"Virginia Tech is interesting to me because I have family in Virginia and two of my uncles went to Virginia Tech," Aronson said.
With all that in mind, Aronson told us that he and his family are working to set plans to visit Virginia Tech the second weekend of June (6/10-12).
Aronson has built up a strong offer list that also includes Miami, Florida State, Wake Forest, Georgia Tech, SMU, Appalachian State, Marshall, Florida Atlantic, Eastern Kentucky, Florida A&M, and Alabama A&M. He's also receiving interest from Alabama, Georgia, Penn State, Florida, Michigan State, Arkansas, Pittsburgh, Oklahoma State, Louisville, and Syracuse.
This comes after an impressive sophomore season for Aronson at his previous school with 2,177 passing yards, 32 touchdowns (including 3 rushing), and only 5 interceptions on his way to helping lead his school deep into the playoffs.
So how does this offer impact his recruitment and where the Hokies stand in his recruitment?
"I’m very interested in VT. It’s an intriguing offer. I’ll have a better idea of where they stand after I visit this summer," Aronson said.
Virginia Tech has some familial connections to Tyler Aronson that makes this offer to the four-star Florida QB mean a little more and makes the Hokies an early contender in his recruitment.
