Fall camp has almost reached its conclusion with Virginia Tech just over a week away from opening their season at Vanderbilt. That also means that we are just days away from seeing the first depth chart of the fall that will reveal where things stand with various position battles including the three most notable starting competitions: Will linebacker, second starting safety, and fifth starting offensive lineman.
There are some who will bring up other spots like right tackle or second defensive tackle but there's no indication of any change there from Parker Clements and Josh Fuga respectively, or any sort of close competition arising at those spots.
So with that in mind, here are my predictions for who will be starting at each of these spots week one against Vanderbilt.
