The consensus four-star prospect in the class of 2026, who racked up nearly 4,000 yards on 21.6 yards per catch in high school, has impressed the coaching staff throughout offseason practices, and now appears poised to see the field for meaningful snaps this season. Against VMI, which allowed nearly 36 points per game last season, "Fat Rat" will have the perfect opportunity to christen his college career and deliver on his offseason hype.
"I think the first thing that jumps off about Davion is he's electrically fast, offensive coordinator Ty Howle said. "He can really, really run. He's one of our fastest guys on the team. And when you look at him, he's a physically developed kid as well. He's not like a small guy that can just run. He can change direction. He'll go out and block people. He's mature physically."
