Four-star Northern Virginia point guard Anthony Harris has been one of Virginia Tech's top recruiting targets for months and tonight, Harris revealed his official visit plans.
Virginia Tech will receive the first official visit from Harris from September 7th-9th. After that, Harris will take official visits to fellow ACC programs Wake Forest and Miami in September followed by a trip to Connecticut on a TBD weekend in October.
The Hokies have been considered a top contender for Harris for months now, and remain so with the Hokies getting the chance to set the tone for his official visits. Given the timing of these visits, Harris appears likely to make a decision by no later than early November with the four-star guard likely to sign a LOI in the early signing window.
At this point, it seems highly unlikely that Harris will end up at a school other than one of the four that were a part of tonight's announcement. However, Harris still does have one unallocated official visit which could be something to keep an eye on.
One thing Buzz Williams has always seemed to try to do is get his early official visits on the same weekend as a home Virginia Tech football game weekend, giving recruits an opportunity to see Hokie Nation.
Virginia Tech is a top contender for Anthony Harris heading into what will be his four most important visits of his recruitment.
