Virginia Tech men's basketball officially knows its path through ACC play for the 2026-27 season.

The ACC released its full conference schedule Wednesday, with the Hokies set to open league play against Louisville on December 30 at Cassell Coliseum. It will mark the seventh consecutive season that Virginia Tech has opened ACC play at home.

Under the ACC's 18-game scheduling format, Virginia Tech will play nine games at home and nine on the road. The Hokies' two home-and-home opponents this season are rival Virginia and Boston College.

Virginia Tech will travel to Charlottesville for its first Commonwealth Clash matchup on Jan. 30 before welcoming the Cavaliers to Blacksburg on Feb. 23. The Hokies will host Boston College on Jan. 9 before making the return trip on Feb. 20.

Other notable home games include Miami on January 23, Clemson on February 2, NC State on February 17 and North Carolina on February 27. Seven of Virginia Tech's eight games against ACC teams that reached the 2026 NCAA Tournament will be played at Cassell Coliseum.

One notable absence is reigning ACC champion Duke. The Hokies will not face the Blue Devils during the regular season for the first time since Virginia Tech joined the ACC in 2004.

Virginia Tech closes conference play on March 6 at Georgia Tech before the ACC Tournament, scheduled for March 9-13 at First Horizon Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina. Tip times for the Hokies' ACC games will be announced following television selections.
