The spring transfer portal window has officially opened with the Hokies set to add a few more players to their 2025 roster in the coming weeks.
So with that in mind, here’s my look at several potential transfer targets to watch for Virginia Tech.
Maryland OT Terez Davis
Terez Davis is a name I will absolutely be monitoring and so should you given the fit and the ties he has to VT.
Let's start with his performance this past season as he broke into Maryland's offensive tackle rotation and played almost 300 snaps this season. For an offensive lineman to play significant snaps as a true freshman is extremely impressive and is indicative of both the massive talent and the massive potential that he has.
His PFF grade of 54.5 won't blow you away at all, but to be at least around replacement level playing Power 4 football at offensive tackle as a true freshman is truly insane and makes him absolutely a guy to watch in the coming years including for NFL scouts. He also had a decent pass blocking efficiency of 96.8% this past season and only allowed one sack over the course of the 292 snaps he played.
In short, Davis is one of the best offensive lineman available in the spring transfer portal window and will certainly have tons of suitors wanting him.
The good news for the Hokies...
