Virginia Tech’s second official visit weekend of the season has proven fruitful as the Hokies gained a commitment from four-star WR Cam Wade, who recently moved from Kentucky to Loudon Sports Academy in Northern Virginia.
The 5’11’’, 165-pound Wade is the third WR commit for the Hokies this cycle along with three-star Demarcus Brown out of Roanoke and three-star AJ Roberts out of North Carolina. He is the third in-state commit for this class along with Brown and three-star TE Sam Faniel out of Richmond.
VT beat out Maryland and UCLA for his commitment, though Florida State had also been a serious contender not too long ago and isn’t lacking for space in their 2027 class.
We will have more as this story develops.
