Throughout most of the season, the Virginia Tech Hokies have announced the weekly recipient of the #25 jersey on Thursday but with back-to-back Thursday night games, that timeframe has changed to allow the Hokies' opponent to make any needed adjustment to a roster that opposing coaches would receive.
This week, the Hokies gave the #25 jersey to a true freshman for the first time this season.

Justin Fuente announced that true freshman wide receiver Divine Deablo would wear the #25 jersey for the Hokies at Pittsburgh. This comes a week after the Hokies gave the jersey to a senior linebacker in Anthony Shegog. Deablo hasn't played much on offense as a backup receiver but has earned some time on special teams.
Congrats to Divine Deablo on receiving the #25 jersey against Pittsburgh.
