ACC Championship game hopes may have disappeared during last week’s loss to Syracuse, but Virginia Tech has a major opportunity to pick up the biggest win of the Brent Pry era against No. 23 Clemson. Both teams will be hungry to bounce back from losses last week as the Hokies look to finish the season strong while the Tigers look to keep their faint ACC Championship game and CFB Playoff hopes alive.

So with that said, let’s look at my Hokies to Watch.

RB Bhayshul Tuten

Clemson’s had their struggles defending the run this season as they’re allowing 4.6 yards per carry. Those issues popped up last week when Louisville’s Isaac Brown ran for 151 yards and a touchdown on 20 carries to help lead the Cardinals to an upset of the Tigers.

This week, the Tigers may face an All-American caliber running back in Bhayshul Tuten who could give them fits.

Of course, it is unknown at this time if Tuten will play, though all signs seem to suggest that odds are good he’ll be back after missing the Syracuse game. While he may not be 100%, he also wasn’t 100% earlier this season when he was having his fair share of 100+ yard rushing days while wearing a knee brace.
