Virginia Tech Will Wear All White Uniforms vs. Miami

For the third time this season, the #13 Virginia Tech Hokies will face off against a top 25 opponent on Saturday. However, this game against #10 Miami might be the most important thus far. While West Virginia and Clemson were big matchups that brought in a lot of national attention, neither of them had the same ACC and national championship implications as Miami. Therefore, it is very safe to say that both teams will be doing all they can to get fans and players excited for this game. One way that the Hokies will be doing this is by pulling out all white uniforms as they head to Coral Gables. This is likely in response to Miami announcing that they will be unveiling all black uniforms on Saturday. This will be the second time that the Hokies have worn all white this season, with the first time coming in the White Effect game vs. ODU. The Hokies won that game 38-0. It is hard to say just how many Virginia Tech fans will travel to Florida for this game, but you can bet that this uniform reveal will increase their excitement. Virginia Tech is known for their ability to draw fans to travel for road games, and VT is likely to keep that reputation going as the Hokies face the Hurricanes in what will most likely be the ACC Championship Semi-Final as these schools are the top 2 teams in the Coastal Division. It can be expected that the Hokies will continue to do more to draw fans to Miami. You can expect there to be a fair amount of Maroon and Orange in the stands of Hard Rock Stadium as Virginia Tech tries to secure their spot in the ACC title game and put themselves in the thick of the College Football Playoff race.
