Jessica Dimaro Signs With Virginia Tech Women's Basketball

Megan Duffy and Company added veteran depth on Tuesday with 20-year-old Jessica Dimaro, a native of Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, Nigeria.

The 6-foot-4 center from comes to Blacksburg from Kariya, Japan, where she played for the Toyota Boshoku Sunshine Rabbits of the W League. After averaging 12 points and 10 rebounds per game on 53 percent shooting and posting 13 double-doubles, she was the W League's Rookie of the Year in 2025-26.

With Dimaro's signing, the Hokies now have 13 players on their roster. She joins offseason additions Francesca Baldassarre, Natalee Goff, and Lauren Hurst as Duffy revamps her roster from last season.
