Virginia Tech is turning to the transfer portal once again to fill some immediate needs and made a big splash today landing Maryland grad transfer offensive lineman Johnny Jordan.

Jordan started 17 games over the past three seasons for Maryland at center earning All-Big 10 Honorable Mention honors this season. Jordan becomes the first of likely multiple transfer additions this offseason for the Hokies.
Jordan's addition couldn't come at a better time for the Hokies after seeing Doug Nester and Bryan Hudson enter the transfer portal with Nester already off to West Virginia. Jordan immediately projects at an interior starter whether that's at right guard or at center with Brock Hoffman sliding over to right guard.
