Class of 2028 recruiting is slowly starting to pick up for Virginia Tech with the Hokies already positioning themselves well with some of the better recruits in the 2028 class. That includes three-star LB Corvin Watson out of Virginia Beach's Green Run HS, who has a high view of the Hokies already.
"Top 3, feels like a place I can call home," Watson said.
All this comes as Watson has built up an offer list that includes VT, Georgia Tech, South Carolina, Pittsburgh, Duke, Wake Forest, Syracuse, and others. He is also currently ranked as the seventh best in-state recruit in the 2028 class by 247 Sports while Rivals ranks him as the 17th best in-state recruit in the 2028 class.
