The Hokies are the second Power 5 offer for Rosahac joining Syracuse in that regard with JMU, Temple, and UMASS among his other most notable offers to date. He also told us that he's been receiving interest from Penn State, Pittsburgh, and West Virginia.
He had this to say about his reaction to receiving a VT offer.
"I was on a unofficial visit today there, and I was talking to (Head) Coach (Brent) Pry at the end of the visit in his office and he told me that they’re going to offer me a scholarship. I started tearing up and gave him a hug because I know that’s a special place down there so being able to get an opportunity to play there is incredible," Rosahac said.
This offer came as Rosahac has been receiving some interest from the Hokies prior with it increasing since the arrival of Ron Crook as Tech's new offensive line coach following Joe Rudolph's departure for Notre Dame.
"I was at a game of theirs this past season and that was the only time I was there. I received a lot of mail in the fall but over the winter didn’t hear much with the prior OL coach just left so I was in shock about this offer," Rosahac said.
So how was his visit to Virginia Tech as a whole?
"It was amazing. The campus was nice, the facilities were great, everything about that place really exceeded my expectations," Rosahac said.
He had this to say about what he did during his visit to Blacksburg.
"We first watched the team lift, then we toured campus and finally talked with the OL coach and Coach Pry at the end," Rosahac said.
His visit did include a good amount of time with the Hokies' new OL coach Ron Crook with Rosahac having this to say about how that time went.
"Me and coach Crook spent about half an hour with each other and it was a very productive conversation we had. I’m glad I got the chance to meet him in person!" Rosahac said.
So how did this offer and visit impact his recruitment and where Virginia Tech stands in it?
"It impacts it a lot, there’s more thought then before now," Rosahac said.
Keep an eye on 2024 OL Noah Rosahac as Virginia Tech is a clear contender in his recruitment.
