Virginia Tech made another in-state recruiting as the Hokies landed a commitment from Richmond three-star ATH Krystian Williams.

Williams chose the Hokies over offers from finalists Wake Forest and Rutgers plus UVA, Duke, Northwestern, Boston College, ODU, Liberty, and East Carolina.
He is the 8th in-state commit for the Hokies and 4th from the Richmond area this cycle along with S Braylon Johnson and ATH Takye Heath out of Highland Springs HS and DE Jason Abbey out of Douglas S Freeman HS. Tech has only had 4 or more Richmond area commits who hadn't signed an NLI in the 2012, 2014, and 2022 classes since 2010.
