Carroll is the Hokies' fourth commit in the past 2.5 weeks along with three-star WR Jaylen Jones, three-star DB/ATH Jalen Stroman, and three-star RB Chance Black. He also joins that incldues the 3 aforementioned recruits plus four-star WR Latrell Neville, three-star DBs Nykelius Johnson and Jalen Hoyle, three-star LB Will Johnson, and three-star DT Tyas Martin.
