If you decide to dig through message boards after a Virginia Tech loss, there will probably be some fans who have a list of coaches they want to see gone with safeties coach Pierson Prioleau usually being on this list. Even after victories especially last season, there was plenty of frustration directed at certain coaches including Prioleau.
Now normally, you don't play into message board fodder but in this case, I've decided to take up having a conversation on Pierson Prioleau. And two games into his third season at the helm of the Hokies' safeties, I think that conversation isn't exactly what some of those message board posters think it should be.
If anything, I think Prioleau has more of a case for a raise than anything especially after what we've seen to this point now as Tech's safeties coach.

Well said and proven out in this article. There are other areas where we need to see dramatic improvement--particularly in stopping the run where we rank 112th nationally.
