Virginia Tech already has nine transfer portal commits with one of them coming from Cam Chadwick, a multi-year starting cornerback from Connecticut who had 67 tackles and four interceptions this past season as a redshirt sophomore. Chadwick quickly emerged as one of Tech's primary cornerback targets with the Hokies staving off TCU, UCLA, Colorado State, and others to land his commitment.
So why did Chadwick choose Virginia Tech? Here's what he had to say.
"From the minute I walked into the facility I instantly felt the immense amount of love. I am 100% bought into the expectations that are set for VT. This was something I wanted to help and be a part of!" Chadwick said.
Chadwick visited VT on January 5th with that visit having a big impact on his decision as he shared.
