Three-star DB KP Price out of Towson, Maryland was among the talented recruits on campus visiting Virginia Tech this past weekend with the Hokies making a strong impression.

Price told us that his visit was "great" with this to say about why that was the case.

"I feel like everybody was very welcoming and it was an all-around great vibe at the place for me. I also loved how competitive practice was," Price said.

Price shared with us his schedule during his time at Virginia Tech this past weekend.

"I got to watch practice, got a tour of facilities and campus, got to meet with coach (Brent) Pry and other coaches, and had a photoshoot," Price said.

During his visit, Price spent the most time with safeties coach Pierson Prioleau who would likely be his position coach if he were to choose Virginia Tech given that he is likely a safety at the collegiate level. His time with Prioleau went well as Price shared with us.

"It was great! We got to talk some football and learn more about each other," Price said.

There were a couple things that were unique about this visit in Price's eyes as he told us.

"I liked the campus and the coaches showed a lot of love," Price said.

Getting KP Price on campus is a big plus for the Hokies as Price already has 18 offers including other Power 5 offers from Wake Forest, West Virginia, Boston College, Duke, Syracuse, Kansas, and more. This visit also comes as Price will be back on the road this week with a trip to Wake Forest scheduled for tomorrow.

So how did this visit to Virginia Tech impact his recruitment and where the Hokies stand in it?

"It impacted it positively. Virginia Tech is definitely up there," Price said.

While KP Price may not be anywhere near a decision given his busy visit schedule, Virginia Tech definitely made a strong impression and has positioned themselves well in his recruitment.
