Fall camp may be in full swing but the recruiting trail hasn’t slowed down either in part because of the fact that college football programs now have a 105 player roster cap that allows for all 105 to be on scholarship, creating 20 more scholarship spots. Virginia Tech head coach Brent Pry confirmed earlier this month that the Hokies will go to a full 105 scholarship roster so Tech has a few more spots to use for their 2025 roster, some of which will go towards high school standouts and others of which likely will be saved for the transfer portal and putting existing walk-ons on scholarship.
So with that said, let’s take a look at some of the latest Hokies recruiting notes highlighted by a couple targets making decisions soon and an offensive tackle that Virginia Tech is standing out for.
