Virginia Tech's biggest recruiting weekend of the fall is upon us as the Hokies are set to host an elite group of recruits this weekend when the Hokies take on No. 23 Clemson. This game presents a tremendous opportunity for the Hokies to impress the numerous high-level recruits that will be on campus.
One of the biggest visitors on campus will be Northwest Mississippi CC CB Keshawn Davila, the #1 JUCO cornerback in the country. Davila included the Hokies in his top 7 and I do believe the Hokies have some serious traction in his recruitment. There has been plenty of shuffling as his recruitment has taken off, but the Hokies have been a little bit of a constant. It seems pretty clear that the Hokies view Davila as an instant-impact player who could start opposite Dante Lovett at cornerback if Dorian Strong and Mansoor Delane both move on to the NFL after this season as many believe seems likely.
There's good chunk of talent in the 2026 class...
