Virginia Tech's biggest recruiting weekend of the fall is upon us as the Hokies are set to host an elite group of recruits this weekend when the Hokies take on No. 23 Clemson. This game presents a tremendous opportunity for the Hokies to impress the numerous high-level recruits that will be on campus.
There's good chunk of talent in the 2026 class from the Carolinas coming up to Blacksburg this weekend. The headline name is four-star CB Samari Matthews out of Huntersville, NC who has dozens of offers from Power 4 schools. While this will be an uphill battle, the Hokies do have some serious traction with Matthews and a chance to build on that this weekend.
Four-star WR/TE Carnell Warren has been high on Virginia Tech's board for a while and is making his second trip to Blacksburg this year. There's talk that Warren could be making a decision soon and if he is, I think the Hokies have a very good chance of landing the Bluffton, SC standout.
