Virginia Tech’s first Junior Day of 2026 is fast approaching as the Hokies will host some top targets on January 24th. This will be part of a massive 15-day stretch of major recruiting visits starting with four-star OT Carter Jones' visit on January 17th and ending with a second big Junior Day on January 31st when VT Men's Basketball hosts Duke.
One thing to note is that this visit list could be subject to great change with a major winter storm currently being forecasted this weekend that could bring as much as a foot of snow or more to Southwest Virginia.
Let's start with one of the headline names, four-star OL Q'Mari Hudson. He told me that Virginia Tech is among the schools currently standing out for him, which you can read more about here. He had this to say about what he’s hoping to see on his upcoming VT visit.
“I’m hoping to see great energy and a lot of love from the coaches,” Hudson said.
