Virginia Tech Football Visitor List (6/1-6/4)

Quentin Reddish VT Visit March 2023

The June official visit and camp window kicks off this weekend for everyone across college football with Virginia Tech set for a fascinating weekend with high school and transfer official visitors plus plenty of intriguing camp guys.

There's lots of interesting names on this list so let's start with the one guy who can make an impact on the 2023 season, Harvard transfer OL Mason Williams.

Williams and the Hokies have rescheduled multiple visits, but the All-Ivy League First Teamer has confirmed to me that he has indeed set an official visit for this upcoming weekend. Numbers are tight for the Hokies but if Tech has room, I like their chances of landing him.

Update: Williams has canceled his visit to VT.

The Hokies are hosting multiple high school official visitors headlined by four-star WR Chanz Wiggins out of King George, VA. Maryland and Duke are also set to host Wiggins later this month on officials, but the Hokies are in a strong position for the consensus top 10 VA recruit entering this visit. Wiggins is one of Tech's top offensive targets with this being a recruiting battle Tech needs to win as a sign of further progress with in-state recruiting.

Three-star WR Keenan Jackson out of Waxhaw, NC kicks off his summer official visit schedule with his third trip to Blacksburg in 2023. This is a VT vs Tobacco Road battle as he has official visits to NC State, Duke, and North Carolina in that order after this weekend according to On3.

Also visiting is three-star OL Moritz Schmoranzer who took a pair of visits to Virginia Tech and Wake Forest in May before he was scheduled to make his decision then. However, he chose to expand his recruitment with West Virginia (third weekend of June) and Pittsburgh (fourth weekend of June) set to host him on officials later this month in addition to VT. He also is looking to take an official to Wake Forest in between his officials to WVU and Pitt while he is also talking to Maryland about an official.

Three-star DB Quentin Reddish out of Charlotte was originally scheduled to take an official visit during the middle of next week. However, Reddish has moved his visit up to this weekend as the Hokies battle NC State and Wake Forest for one of their top safety targets.

Beyond official visits, there are some other interesting recruits who will be on campus this weekend. It did start with Richmond area CB Javion Randall who has been offered by VT, but was planning to camp this weekend. However, he has had to rescheduled to June 11th due to the VHSL Track & Field championship meet this weekend.

Two intriguing linebackers who are camping this weekend are Salem, VA's Jaelyn Allen and Northern Virginia's Langston White.

Allen has picked up a few D1 offers recently including Cincinnati and Marshall. He is also teammates with a pair of big time recruits in priority VT LB target Chris Cole and four-star RB Peyton Lewis who recently committed to Tennessee.

Meanwhile, the Hokies are among multiple Power 5 programs showing interest in White along with Wake Forest, Pittsburgh, and Rutgers.

Looking beyond 2024 to 2025, local Christiansburg, VA OT Carter Stallard will be the first visitor of the week on Thursday. Stallard holds an offer from FIU and is trained by former VT OL Sergio Render.

Also visiting on what seems like a possible non-camp visit is four-star CB Kevyn Humes out of Baltimore powerhouse St Frances. Humes doesn't appear to have a VT offer at the moment though he's a strong offer candidate this weekend while he visits.

One other notable 2025 visitor is Northern Virginia DL Jonah Fuga who is the younger brother of current VT DT Josh Fuga. Jonah Fuga will definitely have a chance to earn an offer and open the door for the Fugas be one of the next VT brother duos this weekend.

Note that this list will be updated as recruits either publicly state their plans to visit whether on social media or public articles, tell us directly that they are planning to visit, or a source confirms a visitor with us. An asterisk is next to the names of recruits who currently do not hold a VT offer.
