Many have wondered how Virginia Tech would adapt to the new roster rules that cut roster sizes from 120 to 105, but allow for scholarships to be extended to all 105 players rather than just 85. Some like the SEC are sticking with just 85 scholarships for the time being while other leagues are not instituting a league-wide policy including the ACC.
So will Brent Pry and Virginia Tech go all the way to 105 scholarships or will some semblance of a walk-on program remain? Here’s what Pry shared with some assembled media including myself in Charlotte last week.
