Virginia Tech may be done with their scholarship high school additions for the 2022 class, but the Hokies did add an in-state PWO ATH Latrell Sutton.

Sutton chose a PWO offer from the Hokies over scholarship opportunities from Old Dominion, Norfolk State, Morgan State, and West Virginia State though as is well-known, the status of offers can change. Regardless, Sutton is undoubtedly a headline PWO commit who has taken a risk to pursue his dreams at the Power 5 level instead of starting out on scholarship somewhere else in Division I football.
Sutton is an intriguing athlete at 6'3'' who could play wide receiver or has the frame to also play outside linebacker where Rivals has him listed at. While some may see the listing of WRs coach Fontel Mines as an indication, Mines is also the area recruiter so it's not worth looking too closely into that.
Sutton also joins on-scholarship three-star DL Rashaud Pernell as Highland Springs standouts who are part of Virginia Tech's 2022 commit.
We will have more as this story develops.
