Virginia Tech Lands Top Targets to Replenish Defensive Tackle Room

With Pheldarius Payne, Norell Pollard, and Mario Kendricks all out of eligibility; there was no doubt that Virginia Tech was going to need to prioritize defensive tackle in their transfer portal/JUCO recruiting.

Yes, the Hokies had Josh Fuga and Wilfried Pene returning, with Fuga proving to be a decent starter and Pene looking like a solid rotational guy. There are also plenty of intriguing young guys in the program and a couple incoming freshman including Emmett Laws who has plenty of buzz.

However, there was nothing that suggested Virginia Tech had the defensive tackles in house to have a quality rotation for 2024 when entering December.

Let's start with the biggest addition: All-ACC Third Team DT Aeneas Peebles.
