According to a source, Virginia Tech LB Jayden McDonald is entering the transfer portal.
McDonald leaves the Hokies after spending the past four seasons at VT. During his time at VT, McDonald played in 32 games with eight starts (3-2022, 5-2023) and had 50 tackles including four for loss with one sack.
He will likely have two years of eligibility remaining as it appears he should be able to get a medical redshirt after only playing in two games this past season due to injury.
