The Hokies are joined by UCLA and Arkansas, who is hosting the standout JUCO cornerback on a visit ahead of his December 12th decision. UCLA is a newcomer to this group while Florida, Michigan State, Arizona State, Iowa, and Utah were among those included in his top 7 to not make this cut.
Virginia Tech does have some momentum in his recruitment after hosting Davila on an official visit for the Hokies' 37-17 victory over Virginia. However, Arkansas getting the last visit feels rather significant at this late point in his recruitment.
The Hokies likely will be looking to add an older cornerback to a room that has Dante Lovett ready to take over one spot, but may want some competition at minimum or Thomas Williams, Joshua Clarke, and others with Dorian Strong and Mansoor Delane both likely to move on to the NFL.
