One of Virginia Tech's top safety targets Quentin Reddish of Charlotte, NC recently revealed his top 3 with the Hokies making the cut.
I sincerely appreciate ALL the coaches that have contacted me, it truly means the world to me. With that being said I have decided to focus on 3 schools, looking forward to a commitment this summer. #grateful pic.twitter.com/jTqlhw1X6E

Tech was joined by NC State and Wake Forest in Reddish's top 3 while notable offers like Duke, West Virginia, Missouri, UVA, East Carolina, Appalachian State, and more missed the cut for him.
He had this to say about why each of these schools made his top 3.
Virginia Tech: "I enjoyed watching them practice. They’re full of energy and fly around everywhere. They’re showing love and I’m interested in the program."
NC State: "I really like the flow of their defense. They are hard hitters. They play a variety of defenses. They have a lot of different defensive packages. If I do end up going to NC State, I feel like I can be very productive for them."
Wake Forest: "I like that it is a pretty small school. They have good academics, too. They always have somebody working. Any time you look at the practice field or indoor facility, there is always somebody getting better there. I really enjoyed that. They really have all bought into the program."
Reddish added that he feels Virginia Tech is currently recruiting him the hardest with the Hokies being in contact with him "everyday" with different coaches reaching out showing how big of a priority that he is for Tech.
Looking ahead, Reddish told us that he is planning to take an official visit to Virginia Tech though he doesn't have a date for it currently. He plans to take an official to Wake Forest on the first weekend of the June and NC State on the third weekend of June.
Beyond that, Reddish is planning to make his decision at the "end of June" having this to say about what the key factors will be in his decision.
"Just finding out where I can fit into the defense, and who’s showing the most love," Reddish said.
Virginia Tech is right at the forefront of Quentin Reddish's recruitment with the Hokies looking to beat out NC State and Wake Forest to land one of their top safety targets.
