The Haymarket, Virginia native and Under Armour All-American is a 6-foot-2, 212-pound linebacker from Battlefield High School. Glover is unanimously ranked as a top-5 player in the Commonwealth; 247 and On3/Rivals both rank him as highly as No. 2, as well as a top-200 player nationally. Virginia Tech was in the race for Glover early on, with his initial offer coming in October in 2024. James Franklin and Brent Pry made the trip to meet the four-star on January 28th.
Virginia Tech has attempted to solidify its linebacker room for the last several years. Now under James Franklin's tenure, the Hokies could see significant movement at the position over the next few years.
Given his previous track records of landing top talent and developing linebackers, it looks to be a position that Franklin will want to get right. Noah Glover has been on the top of Virginia Tech’s board for some time, along with four-star Broncs Baker, who listed Virginia Tech in his final six recently, as well.
The recruiting battle for Noah Glover will be one to watch over time, as Virginia Tech continues to be in the mix with other top programs.
