Virginia Tech's high school recruiting focus is largely shifting to the Class of 2028 including numerous in-state targets. One of those is 2028 DL Patrick Cheatham Jr out of Richmond's Highland Springs HS, who says one school in particular is recruiting him the hardest.
Cheatham told me that Virginia Tech is the school currently recruiting him the hardest.
WRs coach Fontel Mines is one of the primary people who Cheatham has been in contact with given the fact that Mines is VT's primary recruiter for much of the Richmond area. He had this to say about his relationship with Mines.
