The No. 21 Hokies, having missed the NCAA Super Regions for the third consecutive year, are hoping to get past the hump in 2026 with an experienced core. Virginia Tech said goodbye to three seniors last year in 2025 ACC Player of the Year Cori McMillan, Bre Peck, and Emma Lemley. This trio comprised much of the Hokies' offensive output as well as its superstar starting pitcher. However, Virginia Tech is retaining most of its core while welcoming in new faces ahead of the 2026 season.
