Virginia Tech Wrestling has gotten busy in the transfer portal in pursuing talented wrestlers who could fill gaps in their starting lineup and also to build further depth both for the traditional purpose of depth and to provide quality training partners. That includes the Hokies now pursuing a two-time NCAA qualifier who would provide some veteran depth and a quality training partner for one of the Hokies' brightest stars at minimum, with a visit on the cards soon, per source.
