Crawford becomes the Hokies' 17th commit in the 2019 class and first from the junior college ranks. Crawford is also one of three defensive tackles committed to the Hokies alongside three-star FL DTs
Mario Kendricks and Norell Pollard.
For Crawford, the fact that Virginia Tech "felt like home" was the main reason for his selection of the Hokies. In addition, having the opportunity to play immediately for an ACC team had a significant impact on his decision in VT's favor.
